Welcome to our school Reading Cloud page!

This is our new library system where children can not only use this at school to loan out library books from the school library, but they can also access the reading cloud at home on desktop computers, laptops, IPad and even mobile phones!

The idea of the Reading Cloud is to allow children to read at home by accessing a large collection of premium eBooks, which are available on computers and devices like smartphones and tablets, anytime, anywhere!

What can the children do with Reading Cloud?

• Create an online identity (Avatar)
• Search, reserve or download resources across the Reading Cloud
• Recommend resources to other students: Write or video online book reviews (reviewed by administrator)
• Work collaboratively within the Reading Cloud community
• Enjoy a wide range of both publisher and author digital media
• Blog about their favourite books and authors
• Develop their literacy skills through all curriculum subjects. Catalogue their own books and resources in "My Home Library"
• Share their Book, Author and Profile "Likes" with the Reading Cloud community
• Access the Reading Cloud through mobile technologies

Usernames and Passwords

Children will receive a username and password so they are able to log onto their Reading account at both school and home. They will all be shown how to access the Reading Cloud as well as all the enjoyable features, such as creating their own avatar, writing book reviews and reading e-books. This will be used in Literacy lessons to improve reading, comprehension and the enjoyment of reading!

Although you can access the Reading Cloud via google if you click the link below this take you to our school's Reading Cloud page.

Also you can download the app for IPhone, android and google play by searching for 'imls' in the app store and it is free! This will give parents a chance to keep up to date with what their child is reading, their reading interests and making sure they do not have any overdue library books.
